Is your vehicle stored in a garage overnight? Otherwise, you may discover that your insurance will deny coverage if your vehicle is stolen.

The brake lights will remain illuminated until the vehicle is in motion once more. I have observed their reflection in the rear-view mirror when a bus or huge truck is positioned behind me at the traffic lights.
