Re: W124 M111 erratic idle and diagnostic trouble codes
A new electrical harness and throttle body rewire were installed a few weeks ago. I have not tested the O2 sensor, as I did not receive a code for it; however, I will measure it with a meter and verify its functionality.
Thank you

Re: W124 M111 erratic idle and diagnostic trouble codes
I have inspected the vacuum pipes, and they appear to be in satisfactory condition, as does the seal between the body and manifold. The technician who refurbishes the throttle bodies in the UK stated that it appeared to be in excellent shape, except for the wiring, which was entirely damaged. I achi...

W124 M111 erratic idle and diagnostic trouble codes
I have recently returned from a holiday during which the E220 I have owned for a few weeks operated well for approximately 700 kilometres, except for an issue with harsh and inconsistent idling. I purchased the vehicle with acknowledged engine harness problems; nevertheless, it appears to have been ...

Re: W164 Time Adjustment
Thank you for your assistance. The owner's manual does not specify a manual setup technique; nonetheless, I will investigate further now that I am aware it is possible. Salutations.
I am aware of the MOST connector box; I simply have not attended to it yet. It is not an issue.

W164 Time Adjustment
My imported 2007 ML63 is equipped with an aftermarket head unit, hence lacking the COMAND system or any other Mercedes head unit. The steering wheel controls are nonfunctional, perhaps due to the incompetence of the individual who fitted the head unit, which suggests that resetting the clock is also...

Re: Rear brake pads and rotors
The service manual states that the brake line must be removed to replace the rear pads; however, as dm575 indicates, this is not necessary in practice. I agree with Kemal Zarr's reference to the need of an impact driver.

Rear brake pads and rotors
It seems that my rear brake pads and discs need replacement. The repair handbook instructs to 'loosen the eyebolt and thereafter remove the brake hose' for either task (referring to the 'banjo' bolt for the hydraulic line). States, 'after installation, bleed the braking system.' On the older Picanto...
