I comprehend the information provided. Would you want to visit a friend's home to assess your proficiency at level 1? Alternatively, may a companion who has a level 2 proficiency attempt the task? Assist me in this matter, my friend. I am endeavouring to optimise the efficiency of your visit to the dealership. One should strive to minimise the duration of separation from their cherished partner.

Can you confirm if the plug has been completely inserted and whether the latch button is returning to its original position? The button is linked to an interlock switch, which necessitates the plug being completely inserted and the latch being securely latched in order for charging to occur.

Are there any problem alerts shown on the Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE)?

Is there an indication of light emitted from the charging port, and if so, what is the specific colour of the emitted light?

The connector has been correctly inserted, however, it is displaying a flickering white light. In my opinion, the electrical outlets in this specific building are of poor quality. I just conducted an experiment in the shopping centre and saw that the charging process was successful.

There are no indicators of engine malfunction or fault shown on the dashboard.

There is a possibility that the ground line might be in a state of looseness. It is important to ascertain this for the sake of ensuring safety.

Is the Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) permanently connected to the power source, or is it connected via a plug? When connected, carefully inspect the socket to ensure that it is not in a damaged state. There are two crucial aspects to consider about the socket:
During the installation process, it is essential to ensure that the connections are securely fastened using a torque screwdriver that is properly calibrated to the specified specifications.
When inserting the plug, a significant amount of force is necessary, indicating that the contacts will establish a robust connection.

Furthermore, it is worth noting that a low-cost socket has the potential to experience overheating and physical deformation due to prolonged charging sessions of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles. This phenomenon occurs as a result of the repeated heating and cooling cycles, which gradually lead to a reduction in the spring tension of the socket. Consequently, this drop in tension results in an increase in electrical resistance, ultimately leading to higher temperatures inside the socket.
