Is there a method to reach BMW for a technical inquiry? I contacted
[email protected], however they just sent me to my local dealer. Independent garages must have the capability to reach them.

Independents must compensate for the information. No technical component is complimentary from BMW.

2020 F46 218i Gran Tourer
The clutch on my wife's 218i Gran Tourer is too heavy, resulting in discomfort and pain in her left leg after driving. It is more substantial than the clutch in my 330Ci or any other vehicle I have operated.
Upon examining 'RealOEM', I see that some F46 models (218d, 220i, etc.) are equipped with an over-center clutch pedal compression spring, part number 35306860671, but the 218i lacks this component, despite the pedal assembly being similar.
Are you aware of the reason this spring is incompatible with the 218i?
Is there any justification for not adjusting it to alleviate the weight of the clutch action?
I observed a YouTube movie in which an individual installed one in a Mini (utilizing the identical engine, gearbox, and pedal assembly).
For around £11, I will likely attempt to install one nonetheless, but I am curious as to why they are not included as normal equipment.

There is no harm in trying, friend.
A leg soreness caused by a clutch warrants examination to rule out any underlying health issues, such as a weak lower back or core.
If it is neither, then encourage her to attend leg workouts at the gym on Tuesdays and Fridays for four months.

This pertains only to a new clutch, unrelated to the pedal itself.

Perhaps, however I have seen reports online of an owner who had the clutch rebuilt by BMW, and the performance remained unchanged thereafter. Avoiding the expenditure of around £2,000...
I need to test the clutch in another 218i, if available, since they are mostly automated (I wonder why?).
Returning to my first inquiry, is there really no method to contact BMW?

Indeed, it is an 0800 number that can be located using Google.
