I am new to Audi, owning an A3. Could someone provide an approximate cost for the supply and installation of front sensors?

Was the vehicle not equipped with them as standard from the outset?

I assume they are integrated into the MMI; so, if they were not standardly installed, it could result in a costly endeavour due to absent wiring and the necessity for MMI programming.

I have recently learnt that my A3 is a “8Y” model, and it appears that the front sensors are not equipped. Viewed a brief video from “satnavsystems.com” that seemed to illustrate front “lines” that bend in accordance with the steering. Some straightforward enquiries to pose, I believe.

I speculate whether the vehicle has been involved in an accident and a low-cost bumper has been installed, lacking the sensors.

Examine panel gaps and inspect for overspray on all bolts.
