An inattentive individual has collided with the rear of my wife's C Class estate, resulting in minor damage to the bumper and tailboard. Given that it is a 2014 vehicle, the insurance intend to declare it a total loss. Nevertheless, having had it for the previous decade, with only 81,500 miles and meticulous maintenance, I am hesitant to sell it only to acquire someone else's problematic vehicle. The vehicle is a W204 series C250 CDI AMG Sports Edition estate, and there appears to be a plenty of second-hand bumpers and tailgates available on YouTube. Can anyone provide guidance?
Is the AMG estate bumper same to the AMG saloon bumper, or do they differ?
Could anyone provide the Mercedes-Benz part number for the bumper or direct me to a source where I can obtain the part number through an exploded parts diagram, without removing the bumper from the vehicle?
