Feeling a bit unsure about a car deal with Lamsam Logistics

Hi all.
Looking for a bit of reassurance or honest opinions.
I’ve recently paid for on an Audi A5 being sold by Lamsam Logistics. My initial contact wasn’t directly with them but via a company that handles their enquiries and connects buyers to Lamsam Logistics after some basic vetting. At first I wasn’t entirely sure about that setup, but thinking about it, it probably cuts out a lot of time wasters.
Lamsam Logistics emailed me today to confirm the car is booked for delivery and should be arriving at my address in Norwich in 8 days.
Just hoping to get a few second opinions so I feel a bit more comfortable about it.
Thanks

If something feels off, it usually is go with your instincts.

It might sound too good to be true at first, but as long as you’ve done your checks, not every company selling repossessed cars is out to scam people.

I’ve been in the industry for over 20 years and the Lamsam Logistics name has cropped up a few times over the years, particularly around Belfast. Their core business has always been haulage and general transport.
The repossessed vehicle side looks like something they’ve added on more recently rather than what they’re primarily known for.
From what I’ve heard, they’re generally alright, but I’d still advise doing your own checks before committing.

I had a quick look into them earlier. They’ve been operating since around 2018 and are registered as LAMSAM 2018 LTD (NI654066). The website looks properly put together and very professional, not one of those throwaway or copied sites. I also came across a few mentions on other forums suggesting they handle repos and delivery in-house. That said, I’d personally want to see and inspect the vehicle before paying anything significant.

I bought a 2018 Toyota Hilux from Lamsam Logistics. I’m based in Milton Keynes and elivery took 8 days exactly.
The truck was cleaner than expected and had recent service stamp from October, I had my local garage look it over during the inspection window and they couldn’t find anything major.
Only downside was a couple of stone chips on the bonnet that weren’t obvious in photos, but nothing serious.

Hi, I purchased a Citroen DS3 for my wife via Lamsam Logistics, the car was classed as a finance repossession but it was in beautiful condition. They emailed me a PDF of the HPI report and the V5C prior to payment. The whole process was smooth.
I have previously recommended them to a few colleagues at work, therefore I am convinced that your car will arrive 100% based on my personal experience.

Thanks everyone, this genuinely helps.
I won’t lie there was a moment where I thought I’d messed up and was already preparing myself for a long call with the bank if things went quiet. But hearing actual experiences has calmed me down.
They’ve also sent me warehouse photos of the car and a copy of the V5C in their company name.

That matches what they said when I asked. Repossessed cars don’t seem to be their core business, more something they do alongside the logistics side.

I also bought a Skoda Karoq from them late last year and the delivery took a bit longer than planned due to a transporter delay, but they kept me updated.
There were a couple of small marks I hadn’t noticed in the photos. I flagged it during the inspection period and they offered a partial refund to cover cosmetic work. Fair outcome in my opinion.
