Good day. The head unit in my vehicle has died. I need to get a new one as the BMW expert can't get it to work on his computer. Has anybody used one of these before? (You can't include a follow link in your first post.)

In your opinion, is it an improvement or just average? Is there a good substitute that anyone knows of?

Unless the problem is solely with the screen, they won't work for you.
The head unit, located behind the dashboard, just transmits data to the screen; all they do is change the screen.

I appreciate your guidance. The fact that they end up being less expensive is a plus.
