Re: Which tires for the 530D XDrive?
Uncertain whether "cheap" and "20 inches" constitute a compatible combination. I contacted the second-hand tyre business to enquire about the availability of branded tyres in the specified size, with an A grip grade, with a tread depth above 85%, and not older than four years. Th...

Re: Are there any advantageous offers on CrossClimate 3 or sport tires available?
Costco now offers discounts of up to 100 GBP on Michelin tires.
I have bought four Cross Climate 2 tires (235/45 R18 98 (Y) XL) for £591, which includes fitment and TPMS, with a cost of £494 excluding VAT.

Re: Hazardous driving help!
I have just finished a lengthier, but analogous voyage. I reside in Southwest Wales, and a good friend who lives in Harwich, Essex, has become unwell. I visited him. The voyage was too lengthy to accomplish in a single day (350 miles), hence the trip was interrupted at Bath. The majority of the rout...

Re: F40 M135i Coolant Purge
I have consistently observed that they tend to leak readily, either via the bleed on the expansion tank (which yours lacks) or through the little degassing lines.
Run the engine to temperature while monitoring the fluid level, then let it to cool before removing the cap and topping up as necessary.

Re: F40 M135i Coolant Purge
Loosen the bleed screw located on the header tank near the cap and proceed to fill the system. I believe the B48 uses a mechanical water pump instead of an electronic one, which would account for the ineffectiveness of the bleed operation. Examine the auxiliary belt and identify its driven component...

Re: Turbo assistance
The vehicle was diagnosed today using STAR, and no errors were detected. My technician advised me to continue using the vehicle until the check engine light activates.
By the way, did you resolve yours?

It is OK; such occurrences are inevitable. Regrettably, I do not own a scanner.

Re: Turbo assistance
Curiously, I experienced limp mode while driving on the highway this morning. 😭 I had to stop the vehicle to deactivate and reactivate it. The vehicle exhibits this behavior when I accelerate fully to overtake another automobile, resulting in a complete lack of acceleration thereafter. No check engi...
