F40 M135i Coolant Purge
I preferred not to use the engine to avoid damaging the pump. Will all the air be expelled when I operate it, or will airlocks persist afterward?
I will monitor the temperature tomorrow throughout the run. It is likely that you may access the hidden menu to see the coolant temperature from that location. It was a tense moment, since it was my first run after replacing the radiator pack and the whole front end.

I have consistently observed that they tend to leak readily, either via the bleed on the expansion tank (which yours lacks) or through the little degassing lines.
Run the engine to temperature while monitoring the fluid level, then let it to cool before removing the cap and topping up as necessary.
