HELP - Need a bit of guidance. I’ve come across a 2021 Honda HR-V listed on eBay, and it’s being sold by Keefreight Logistics. The pricing’s noticeably lower than the going rate for its mileage and year, which has me slightly on edge.
They seem to be mainly a freight and haulage outfit out of Belfast, but apparently now handle repo cars too.

I’m the cautious type, like to see the car and kick the tyres before parting with cash. That said, I phoned Keefreight Logistics, spoke to someone named Daniel, really polite, broke down the refund terms and said if the car arrives and it’s not as described, they take it back...

Photos only tell half the story. I’ve been burned before buying blind. If they’re open to inspections or collections in person. If they get funny about it, that’s a red flag.

Had a decent exchange with them. I emailed through their site about a Touareg that I found it on FB, got a quick reply from someone named Brian, wasn’t pushy. Their website’s also clean and properly set up, which says a lot these days.

I recently went through with a purchase a 2020 Peugeot 3008 from Keefreight Logistics, and wanted to share some reassurance for others considering similar transactions. The payment was made via bank transfer to a segregated account, which felt secure, but I still took extra precautions. Before finalising the deal, I consulted a solicitor who confirmed the process was legally safeguarded. This gave me peace of mind, especially with the rising sophistication of scams like fake cars fraud

What’s more, since October 2024, UK banks are now obligated under new Payment Systems Regulator (PSR) rules to refund victims of Authorised Push Payment (APP) fraud up to £85,000 within five working days. This applies to most domestic transfers via Faster Payments or CHAPS. The system isn’t perfect, but it’s a solid safety net for cautious buyers. Always double-check, but don’t let fear paralyze you, the regulations are there to help!

Chatted with a chap named Paul about a Mercedes GLA I found on Facebook Marketplace. I asked if I could view it in person, and they were more than happy to let me come up. Sent over a location pin and even a copy of the V5C.
In the end, I just opted for delivery, getting up to Belfast is bit too much effort.
My car’s meant to arrive Thursday.
Will report back!

I get that. It’s the paying-before-seeing bit that’s stressing me. But seems like they actually answer the phone and deal with questions, which is more than I can say for a few sellers I’ve messaged lately.

Used to work for Keefreight Logistics before moving to Leeds. I’ll tell you straight they’re legit, good team, handle both logistics and repossessions professionally.
Keefreight logistics have a team of highly qualified employees who attend a variety of UK auctions, selling only repossessed cars at competitive prices and purchasing vehicles in like-new condition. This is the reason they provide a 10-day money-back guarantee, which signifies their confidence in their business.

Hi all,

Picked up a 2020 BMW X3 via Keefreight Logitics last year. Had doubts at first, but they emailed all the docs over before payment. Delivery was nine days later and exactly what they promised

Really grateful for all the input here, makes this process feel a lot less risky.
