2009 Mercedes C180 W204 Estate 1.6 Petrol.VIN: WDD2042452F389438 Engine number 271910312644702.
My hunt in the UK for the appropriate pump has perplexed me over their incompatibility with various types. Mercedes UK requests £400 plus... Has anybody ever used a different model's pump on their vehicle, specifically a 1.6 engine using a 1.8 engine component? The component number installed in my vehicle is A005 466 8301. I see that AutoDoc enumerates many alternatives compatible with a W204. I would choose the one by Luk priced at €345.
However, because MB is just £400, I would be inclined to consider that option.
Your decision, but avoid a low-quality one, since it may require replacement soon.
