Greetings,
I hope there is someone who can comprehend the recent peculiar electrical issues with my Compact.
The passenger door open indicator has just begun to flash intermittently. Upon exiting the vehicle, I observe that the brake lights are lighted despite the absence of keys in the ignition. Interior light sporadically activates. It is possible that the door module is malfunctioning. However, the brake lights. When this commenced, I did perceive a dubious pop. (Damaged component maybe affecting wiring) Possibly entirely unrelated 😊

Your insights would be much valued.

Thank you.

Initially, inspect the fuses for any that may be blown.
Subsequently, investigate potential damaged wiring.

Examined the fuses; all appeared to be in satisfactory condition. 👍 The issue has been resolved. My USB charging adapter malfunctioned due to a blown capacitor, causing interference with the Canbus system. Gratefully elucidating the sound I perceived.
Thank you very much for your assistance.

I'm pleased to hear that; I had the identical issue when use an inexpensive USB converter. My automobile exhibits unusual behaviour. I will no longer use inexpensive USB adapters.
