Greetings to all. I am experiencing some anomalies with my e300de. In hybrid mode, the vehicle primarily operates on electric power, engaging the diesel engine only under heavy acceleration. It is peculiar that I hardly pressed the pedal, yet the engine consistently starts. Every 10 seconds. After switching, release the pedal. Always attempt to initiate it; at times, the mode seems greyed out. Primarily, it operates in electric mode, but the engine activates after a certain duration.
No mistakes detected upon diagnosis. What constitutes a problem?

I possess a poor 12V battery as well. However, I have seen that the majority of individuals experiencing issues with the battery are unable to initiate the E mode. It is feasible with me. Is it the same issue due to a weak battery? The voltage reads 11.9 V when the vehicle is not operational. When operational, it measures 14.7 volts.

11.9 volts indicates around 40% charge (disregard the operational voltage, as it merely reflects the alternator power being measured). It appears you want a new battery; however, consider attempting a thorough charge with a smart charger first, as you may be fortunate.
Your engine will continue to operate when your battery is severely depleted, since it persistently attempts to charge a battery that is not only flat but perhaps too aged to accept an adequate charge.

Primarily, I have heard that individuals cannot activate EMODE in hybrids; yet, I am able to operate in EMODE. Typically, hybrids function predominantly in electric mode, but now, if I apply slightly more pressure on the accelerator, the engine engages. Previously, it was solely contingent upon a forceful shove or kick.

Some individuals assert that it is feasible for an inverter to fail completely.

I realise that the issue lies solely with the main 22V battery. Not in the little compartment near the passenger seat.

I now verify that pressing the pedal lightly is acceptable. If I press gently and quickly, without applying excessive depth, the engine starts immediately. The effectiveness of pedalling relies not on the depth of the push, but rather on the speed of the contact, correct?

Additionally, could you clarify how a 12V battery is influenced by a hybrid system? Because I comprehend that it is not the engine that is starting, as we have a starter in the electrical system. Or how it functions

Charge your automobile battery via the two terminals located under the hood. After 12 hours, attempt to start your vehicle; if it operates normally, your battery will require replacement soon. What is the age of the battery?
