It has been around one month since the departure of the prominent E, following seven years of exemplary work, and I am encountering difficulties in identifying a successor.
I am currently utilising the 911 on a daily basis. Last week, on my time off, a driving companion and I travelled to the Route de Napoleon in southern France for a few days. The 911 offers an exceptional driving experience; but, I question its suitability as a long-term daily vehicle.
My wife's reliable Golf TDi is handling family responsibilities, but I require a vehicle before our usual summer trip south.
I have been considering C63/E63 waggons; nevertheless, I am not fond of large displays and several driving configurations.
The 911 provides a straightforward, analogue driving experience, featuring simply a sports button and traction control option. The driving performance is exceptional with traction off.
I have always desired a C63 W204, but would it be feasible for daily use, and would it represent a regression compared to the W212?
The vehicle must be a facelift model with reasonable mileage, and what common issues should have been resolved by prior owners?
Which models included a limited-slip differential as standard equipment?
Thank you in advance.
Postscript - my 911 after 1,700 miles in four days on exceptional French D roads…quite dirty and highly compatible with my friend's E46 M3
Existence following the significant event.

In my opinion, the W204 C63 is significantly less versatile than the W212 E63. It excels in its function, although it is not quite as versatile as the W212, and I could not have utilised it as a daily driver.
In my opinion, the W205 C63 is a significantly superior offering, and I considered purchasing one while seeking to replace my pre-facelift W212 E63; however, I ultimately opted for a facelifted W212 E63 instead.
The Biturbo W212 is among the most exemplary automobiles ever constructed and presents a formidable benchmark to surpass.

The 204 will deliver a more exhilarating driving experience than any E-Class, being lighter, more compact, and more agile on winding roads. Test drive one and provide feedback.
Should I reference the epic M156?

Please consider testing a W205 C63. The package is significantly more comprehensive than the W204, and in a direct comparison with a Biturbo W212, I concluded that I would be content to utilise one as a daily vehicle.

The 205 interior is abysmal; the iPad affixed to the screen appears to be an afterthought. The elevated centre tunnel significantly constricts legroom on the left side, resulting in a feeling of confinement. The 4.0tt lacks the character of the 156, sounding unimpressive in comparison and possessing an unattractive aesthetic. Aside from these issues, it is acceptable, I suppose.

I cannot concur; in my opinion, the 205 surpasses the 204 in nearly every aspect. The interior is significantly superior, and while aesthetics are subjective, I find the 205 to be more visually appealing as well. This does not diminish the evident appeal of the 156 engine.
